Tasting notes: warm spices, vanilla, turkish delight, liquorice root, bright and intense bitter, complex, luscious.
Abbotts bitters were a legendary American cask-aged tincture that went out of production in the early 1950s. Luckily, Bob Petrie has resurrected them under his Bob's Bitters brand. This unique aromatic has notes of tonka bean, lively peppermint, sweet cinnamon and warming spices. These ingredients are first steeped in Scotch whisky, filtered, and then aged for 6 months in medium-charred American white oak barrels. Abbotts Bitters provide a rich, herbal note that complement a classic Martini, elevate an El Presidente and works fabulously well with whisky, rum and gin cocktails.
